Worldwide TV, Radio, And Movie Listings

HULU.COM

Is HULU the next YOUTUBE? I think so. HULU allows you to watch, on your computer screen, “free, ad-supported shows and feature films from NBC, Fox and more than 50 media companies, including Sony Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.” To read the full New York Times review, come here:

Of course everything has its drawbacks. You noticed the phrase “ad supported”? But if you miss a favorite TV program, you may just find it on HULU the next day. And the day after. Which means “goodbye VCR, hello HULU.” And may also mean you’ll invest in a larger computer monitor and more comfortable computer chair.

TV AND MOVIE LISTINGS

Zap2it has U.S. TV listings, movie listings, DVDs, reviews, and gossip. Put in your zip code to find what movies are playing in your area at what times.

If you're interested in movie reviews or celeb gossip, and if you don't mind being swamped, click below for the Google directory for U.S. TV and movie reviews. I wandered into it, planning to stay fifteen minutes. Wandered out two hours later, glassy eyed but deeply impressed at what's out there.

If you're not in the U.S., go to

and put in the name of your country and "Google directory TV listings" or "TV and movie listings." You should get a bunch. I accidentally landed in the Google TV/movie directory for the UK and was almost overwhelmed. Which directory is at:
